How is AI usage billed?
Usage is billed with your own API keys (OpenAI · Google · Anthropic) registered in Settings > Models — charged directly to the card on file with each AI provider, for exactly what you use. DoDone never brokers your AI usage or adds a margin — the bill comes straight from the provider. That's why the subscription can be $10.
What does it actually cost per month?
The $10 subscription is fixed. On top of that, AI usage is added — and that depends on how much you use. Here are rough, illustrative examples.

AI usage is billed to your own API key with each provider, and you can watch it in real time on the app's token-usage screen and cap it with a monthly limit. Defaulting to cheaper models lowers the cost further. The figures above are examples; your actual cost depends on the models you choose and how much work you run.
