💳 New Work App: Business Card Designer

• Design cards with 6 front templates (classic, centered, color band, minimal, bold, split) and 4 back options (English info, logo + slogan, QR + website, single-sided).
• Up to 50 people in one design — company name, address, main phone and website are shared; name, title, department and contacts are per person.
• [Fill English text]: AI romanizes names (family-first or given-first), maps job titles to English conventions, and translates departments, company and address. Blank fields are never made up.
• Contact QR (vCard); Korean 90×50 mm (92×52 with 1 mm bleed), US, EU and Japanese sizes; print-ready PDF with front and back for every person, a trim-line proof and 300 dpi PNGs.

🎌 New Work App: Banner Designer

• 5 m, 3 m and 2 m indoor/street banners, 600×1800 X-banners, 850×2000 roll-ups or custom sizes — 4 templates (center, photo, stripe, list).
• Text is sized as large as it fits automatically, and the app shows roughly how many meters away it can be read, along with safety margins and grommet positions.
• AI headline ideas (dates, prices or discounts you didn't give are dropped), text-free AI backgrounds and low-resolution photo warnings.
• Actual-size print PDF ready for large-format printers (including 5 m banners), a proof PDF and a preview PNG.

🖼️ New Work App: YouTube Thumbnail Maker

• Get 3 AI copy options from your video title and description, rendered side by side in your current design — click one to apply it.
• 1–3 big lines with outlines and [highlight] color, 4 templates, badge and subtitle, photo or AI background, previews at suggested-video and search-result sizes.
• YouTube 1280×720 or Shorts cover; JPG kept under 2 MB (quality adjusted automatically) or PNG. Open it straight from a Video Maker render with [Make thumbnail].

🩺 Readiness Check (Settings)

• The former Environment Check is now the Readiness check. It tests all your registered AI keys at once and shows, for 10 features, whether you can use them right now and what to fix if not.
• [Copy support info]: copy your version, OS, feature status and recent errors — without any keys — to paste into a support request.

✨ Improvements

• [Get AI suggestions] now works on every list field in Video Maker (key features, core features, signature menu) and 6 Leaflet fields (main business, product features, core features, services, actions, activities).
• Plain-language input errors: when text or item limits are exceeded, you see the reason and how to fix it in your screen language (e.g. "That's too long — up to 2,000 characters…"). Fields where you paste long text show a character count near the limit and warn if text may have been cut off.

🎬 Video Maker: Reels items are optional, with AI suggestions

• The Items (one per line) field for Reels & Shorts is now optional. Enter just a topic and leave it blank, and AI first picks items that fit the topic, then builds the scenes from them. The items AI chose stay in the field so you can review and edit them.
• Or get them ahead of time with [Get AI suggestions] next to the field. It suggests 3–8 items to match the video length, keeps anything you've already written, and adds only new, non-overlapping items below.

🛠 Fixes

• Slide Studio: pasting a long text — such as a full blog post or article (over 2,000 characters) — into the new-deck topic field failed with an "Invalid input" error. You can now enter up to 30,000 characters; a character count appears past 1,000, and if you go over the limit you're told to upload the material as a file under [Reference materials]. Each slide now draws on more of the source text (up to 12,000 characters) for richer content.

🔑 Know what's needed before you start

Features that need a specific AI key or plugin now tell you the moment you open them what's missing and where to set it up — instead of failing midway.

• Live Interpretation & Meeting Notes: without a Google (Gemini) API key, a notice appears and [Start], [Start recording] and [Upload recording] are locked. Even if another AI (OpenAI, Anthropic) is your default, these two features need a separate Gemini key. You'll no longer finish a whole recording only to have it fail. Meeting text you already have can still be turned into notes with [Text input], no key required.
• Work apps that generate images (Stager, Floor Plan 3D, Virtual Fitting, Hairstyle, Product Shots, Poster, App Icon, Card News, Detail Page and more): without an image model, the card shows "Image model needed", and the app explains how to set up an OpenAI or Google key and an image model. It also notes that Anthropic (Claude) can't generate images.
• Work apps where AI images are one feature (Leaflet, Book Cover, One-Page Site, WordPress, Video Maker, Menu Board): you're told that only that feature is unavailable and everything else still works.
• Music Maker and TTS work apps, Jukebox song generation: see whether the plugin or the Gemini key is missing, with [Plugin settings] and [Model settings] buttons to go straight there.
• Asking an employee to make a video, music or voice: if the Remotion plugin or video renderer, the music/TTS plugin or a Gemini key is missing, the chat immediately shows how to fix it. The employee doesn't pretend to have made a file and writes only what can be done in text, such as a script or plan.

🛠 Fixes

• Fixed Slide Studio presentation videos leaving voice generation enabled — and then failing — when the TTS plugin was on but no Gemini key was set.

📚 New Work App: Book Cover Designer

• Design a book's front cover, back cover and spine as one set. Drop text-free AI artwork into one of six templates — illustration, pattern window, full-bleed art, minimal, split and vertical title — while the title, author and back-cover copy are typeset exactly by code.
• Or have AI draw the whole front cover, lettering included, or upload front, back and spine images you already have and go straight to 3D covers, mockups and the print PDF.
• Spine width is calculated from trim size (Korean standard sizes, A5 or custom), page count and paper, and spine lettering can be stacked vertically or rotated 90°. Enter an ISBN-13 and add-on code to get an EAN-13 + EAN-5 barcode.
• AI suggests back-cover copy from your blurb, table of contents or manuscript. It never invents endorsements, awards or sales figures, and only offers quotes that actually appear in your manuscript.
• Six transparent-background 3D shots (standing, back angle, flat, lying, stack of three, front-and-back pair; paperback or hardcover) and 12 place mockups such as a cafe, bookstore or city street, or a scene you describe (1:1, 4:5, 16:9; one to four at a time).
• Export a print-ready spread PDF with 3 mm bleed (fonts embedded), a trim-line proof PDF and 300 dpi PNGs of each side.

🛠 Fixes

• Fixed employee-made videos failing entirely at render validation when the AI marked a scene as "no image" with 0 or a negative number.

🎬 Slide Studio: Presentation Video

• On a finished deck, press [Presentation video] and AI writes a talk script for every slide. Choose a target length (1, 3, 5 min or auto) and a speaking style, then edit any slide's script yourself or have just one slide rewritten.
• Pick from 30 voices, preview a sample, and generate the narration. When you generate all at once you see progress like "Generating narration for slide 5 (3/12)", and finished slides can be played right away. Only slides whose script or voice changed are regenerated.
• Slides, a slow zoom, smooth transitions, captions and background music (automatically lowered while speaking) are combined into a 16:9 1080p MP4.
• Narration needs the TTS plugin and a Google Gemini key; video export needs the video renderer (Remotion) plugin.

📄 New Work App: Leaflet Designer

• Choose from 10 types — company, product, service, event, class, store, tourism, campaign, community and sale — and bi-fold (A4 half fold), tri-fold (A4) or 4-panel (A3 accordion).
• Fill in the fields for your type and AI drafts copy for every panel plus a cover image. Contacts, prices and dates go in exactly as entered, and reviews, prices or coupons you didn't provide are never made up.
• Pick one of 6 themes, an accent color and your logo, then edit each panel's blocks — features, steps, schedules, price lists, photos, reviews, contacts, QR codes, coupons and more — or have a single panel rewritten. Upload your own photos or generate them with AI.
• Export a print-ready PDF with 3 mm bleed, a proof PDF showing fold and trim lines, and PNG.

📊 New Work App: Chart Maker

• Paste your data, import Excel/CSV, or just say "research this data" — you see the table first. Research is done by AI searching the web, with source links.
• Review and edit the table, then pick from 22 chart types with AI suggestions — bar, line, polar, radar, waterfall, funnel, pyramid, treemap, scatter, quadrant, timeline, Gantt, flowchart, process, loop, Sankey, tree, nested, fishbone, Venn, kanban and user journey.
• Each chart previews instantly, and [Play motion] shows the animation. Edit the title, subtitle, source line, labels and values yourself, or re-convert with a request like "top 5 only".
• Export a static image (high-res PNG) or an animated chart video (MP4, 6/8/12 s) in landscape, portrait or square with 5 themes. Image and video export requires the video renderer (Remotion) plugin.

📈 Automatic charts in reports, Word and PowerPoint

• When your employee writes a report (Word, PDF, HTML, long manuscripts) or a Word/PowerPoint file with comparisons, trends, shares, steps, schedules, causes or structures, charts are added automatically with numbered "Figure N" captions.
• Uses the same 22 chart types as Chart Maker. In PowerPoint, simple number comparisons use the built-in charts, and flows, schedules, causes and structures become diagram slides.
• Only values from your data are used, and estimates like targets or forecasts never become charts. Data that can't be charted goes in as a table in the same place.
• Say "no charts" to leave them out or "lots of charts" for more. No plugin needed, and PDF/HTML charts stay sharp when zoomed.

🔧 Telegram fixes

• Fixed results not reaching Telegram for tasks resumed after restarting the app
• Results of scheduled tasks are now sent to Telegram too
• Fixed the result text disappearing when a photo failed to send — text goes first, and the photo is resent as a file
• Prevented duplicate results; plan proposals are approved with a [Proceed] button; when there are many deliverables, the remaining count is shown

🎬 New Work App: Video Maker

• Enter your product or service details and get ads, explainers, reels and announcement videos as motion graphics. Pick a purpose and the AI drafts a scene-by-scene storyboard — edit each scene's copy, order and style yourself.
• 15/30/60-second lengths, landscape (16:9), portrait (9:16) and square (1:1), 6 themes plus your logo and brand color
• Background music from AI generation, your own file or built-in tracks; narration (TTS) is optional. Scenes without images are filled with graphics, or generate AI images if you like
• Finished videos stay in the list so you can edit and re-render them anytime.

🌐 8 interface languages + first-run language picker

• The interface now also comes in Spanish, German, French, Portuguese and Traditional Chinese — 8 languages including Korean, English and Japanese.
• On first launch, a language picker opens with your OS language preselected. Separately from the interface language, your actual work runs in the 'Working language' (21 languages) in Settings > General.
• OS notifications, the quit confirmation and Live Translate transcript files also follow the interface language. Fixed voice-command hints showing in Korean on the Japanese interface.

✨ Other improvements

• Ask from meeting notes — ask for a report, decisions, open items or a sharing email straight from a meeting's transcript, or ask anything; results are kept with the notes and can be copied or downloaded as Markdown.
• New employee role: Reporter — articles and press releases based on research and fact-checking
• The new-AI-model banner no longer shows only OpenAI — new Gemini and Claude models appear too

🌐 Live Interpretation

• Two-way Conversation Mode — In the interpretation method, if you select 🔁 two-way conversation and set languages A and B, the speech heard in A will be translated to B, and the speech heard in B will be translated to A. Subtitles are displayed side by side in two columns (left A · right B), so when having a conversation while viewing the same screen, each person only needs to read their own language column. In the records and MD, each sentence is marked with the direction (e.g., ko→en). The default is ➡️ one-way interpretation, and two-way costs about twice as much because it uses two Live connections.
• The right AI Assistant (answer guide, reference information, sentence analysis, question answering) follows the working language in Settings > Preferences. Fixed an issue where even when set to Japanese or English, it only showed Korean.
• The top bar wraps into two lines in narrow windows and the labels are shortened, so button text does not break or get cut off on [Start Interpretation].

📝 Meeting Minutes

• Replay Recording — A 🎧 player has been added in meeting details, allowing you to listen to recordings anytime (supports navigation and speed control). Open the file in Finder/Explorer at [File Location]. 🎧 marks also appear on recorded/uploaded meeting minutes in the list.

🧩 Work App

• Angle Transform (virtual fitting room · product promo images) — Under the result, grab the camera above the sphere and drag to set left/right rotation, vertical height, and distance, and it will recreate the same person·product·background as if photographed from that angle. If you enable [12 Best Angles], it generates a set at once: front, 3/4, profile, back, low/high, top-down, close-up, and wide.
• Slide Studio — [Add Slide After]: Inserts a new slide after the selected slide using the entered content. You can add multiple slides at once, e.g., "add 3 slides, one for each of 3 competitors." After adding or deleting, titles and numbering are automatically reorganized. Theme selection has been reduced to a combo box, and a confirmation dialog now appears before deleting a deck.

👥 Employees

• Critic role added — Reviews outputs with a critical eye. Evaluates against the objective, identifies the most critical issue first and reports "where · why · impact · fix", provides counterarguments from the opposite perspective, gives a score out of 10 and one key improvement.

💬 Chat

• In Office Map chat and the messenger 'All Channel', instructions sent without @employee are always handled by the master (me).
• Fixed an issue where video requests using both $remotion and $image would only produce images — video is now prioritized, and scene images are generated within the video.

🎯 Goal

• Goal input limit 20,000 characters (character count shown).

🌐 Web link publishing

• Show page readiness after publishing — GitHub Pages can take 1–3 minutes to reflect a publish, causing a 404 if opened immediately. Now it shows "GitHub is preparing the page (N seconds elapsed)" and automatically checks whether it is actually available and changes to "You can open it now". Before it's ready, [Open] is disabled and [Copy Link] always works. Applied to the publish modals for Chat, Outputs, and Slide Studio, and to the Facility Guide, Menu, and One-Page editor.

💬 Chat

• The toggle between General and Workflow is now a textless icon switch (💬 | ⎇), and in Workflow mode it is placed on the same row next to [Sequential Run].

🔄 Updates

• On the "App update required" screen (when the app is older than the DB), you can now update directly inside the app without downloading the installer file manually (download progress → applied after restart). If verification doesn't succeed, it falls back to manually downloading.

⚙️ Menu · Settings

• Removed the dark mode toggle and Office Album item from the menu (≡). Dark mode is now turned on under Settings > Preferences > Display Theme (includes point color selection and a single card).

💬 Chat

• In-progress task controls — On the in-progress card: [Stop this step] [Reset context] [Cancel]. If you stop, the mission remains, and if you write and send instructions below, it will continue reflecting that content (keeping previous step outputs). Reset context discards accumulated conversation, clarification questions, and intermediate results, leaving only the original request. Telegram: /stop /reset /cancel.
• My instructions are right-side bubbles — They are distinguished from employee/system messages by color and alignment. Instructions sent to an employee show the Master pixel character and name, and master chats are labeled with an "Instruction" badge.
• Input toolbar — Below the input field there are @employee · /skill · $plugin · 📎attachment icons, and on the right a Normal↔Workflow toggle (default: Normal) and a send button. The attachment and mode buttons that were above have been removed.
• The "This is how I will proceed" plan guidance now puts each step on its own line.

🧩 Work App

• Video Downloader 🆕 — Paste YouTube·TikTok·X·Instagram·Vimeo URLs one per line (up to 20), and it saves videos or mp3s to My Folder. Shows progress status, view in folder, choose save folder. Free without AI calls.

📊 Token Usage

• Year-month selection — In addition to This Month, Last 7 Days, and All, you can select months that have usage records and view only that month.

🛠 Fixes

• Fixed an issue where hiring for foreign language tutor/interviewer roles failed (missing DB constraint).

🚀 Getting started is much easier — Onboarding revamped

• AI connection in one step — choose a provider (OpenAI·Google·Anthropic), numbered instructions show how to obtain the key, and when you paste the key it is automatically validated and saved to Settings > Models. You don't need to open the Settings screen.
• First conversation — tap an example or type your own and ask once; the AI you just connected will answer within 10 seconds and show the cost of that single interaction.
• Next steps guidance — checklist of what's done and what's not, plus shortcuts. Explains why keys from other AI providers are needed (translation·images·music) and where to use Knowledge, Staff, and Work apps.
• Top [Previous step] button, long-step scrolling supported.

🌐 Live interpretation

• My speech is also recorded — when the system audio source is selected, my microphone is captured on a separate channel and recorded labeled "🙋 Me". Summaries and action plans include what I said.

🧩 Work apps

• My Documents — documents from apps that store results as lists, like work orders and safety training materials, are gathered in the left menu under My Documents without app separation. Title search; click to reopen in that app to edit or export. Stored as a device file so they remain even if the app data is deleted.
• Slide Studio "Dark Orange" theme — black background + orange accents, for impactful keynotes and talks. 13 themes.

🎬 Video (Remotion)

• Even without attached images, it automatically generates and inserts photos/illustrations fitting the scene using the configured image model (up to 4 images per video, portrait/landscape ratio auto).

• The back button from kickoff discussion, execution, and retrospective screens opened from a Goal now returns to the Goal screen.

🌐 Live Interpretation

• Create from recording — when you open a saved interpretation record, there are [AI Summary] and 📝 report materials · ✅ action plan presets, and you can directly request the desired format in the input box (e.g., "Extract only the conditions the other party requested"). The result is shown in Markdown and stored with the record; it can be copied, downloaded as MD, or deleted.
• Choose AI assistant — before starting interpretation, pick an 🤖 assistant from Guide + reference info / Response guide only / Reference info only / Do not use. If you choose Do not use, the right panel disappears and captions are shown full-width. The selection is remembered.
• Increased padding under the caption list so live lines don't stick to the bottom of the screen.

🌐 Live Interpretation

• Fixed disconnection issue during long meetings — When the connection lifetime (about 10 minutes) expired it would stop with "Connection closed (1008 GoAway)"; we've changed it to automatically stitch the same session into a new connection. Subtitles, cards, and the sentence in progress remain intact. If the network briefly disconnects, it will quietly retry reconnecting once.
• Interpretation history — Interpretations are automatically saved when they finish. From the top [History] you can review past interpretations' original text, translations, timestamps, and AI assistant cards, and you can edit the title, download MD, or delete. During an ongoing session, [Save] updates the contents up to that point, and [MD] downloads the current contents as a Markdown file.

🧩 Work Apps

• Work instructions & checklists 🆕 — Enter product and process, and it creates a table of work steps, acceptance criteria, and precautions, inspection items, and periodic inspection checklists. Missing numeric values are left blank rather than fabricated. You can request edits for partial changes, and save as PDF, Word, or Excel.
• Safety training material generator 🆕 — Enter industry, equipment, risk factors, training audience (new/regular/special/management & supervisors), and duration to generate training slides (PPTX), attendee-signed training logs (PDF), and comprehension quizzes. Translations into 17 languages for foreign workers.
• Favorites — Click the ★ on a work app card to gather it in the favorites area at the top of the list.

🛠 Stability

• The app runs as a single instance so the local database won't be corrupted if launched twice (the second launch brings the existing window forward). If the DB cannot be opened, it will retry and then show the cause in a dialog.
• Structured output error messages now indicate which field caused the problem.

Media Download plugin 🆕

• Turn on Media Download in Settings > Plugins and click [Install download module] (yt-dlp, ~35MB on Mac, ~18MB on Windows, self-updates daily). Then paste a URL in chat and say "download this video" — video or audio from X (Twitter), YouTube, Instagram (public), TikTok, and more is saved as a deliverable and shown as a video card in chat. With ffmpeg on your system you get high-quality merges and mp3 conversion. If the plugin is off, the app tells you how to enable it. Use within copyright and platform terms

Fixes

• Repeated clarifying questions: after you answered, the employee sometimes asked the same thing again or dragged in an older task. Now at most two clarifications per request, and after your answer the original request is carried out
• Copying chat text: select message, result, code, and table text with the mouse and copy with Cmd+C (Ctrl+C on Windows). A macOS Edit menu was added so Cmd+C/V/X/A shortcuts work

Two new work apps

• 📑 Document to Markdown: turns PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, CSV, and HTML into Markdown that keeps headings, lists, and tables. Paste it to an AI as reference and spend 3–5× fewer tokens than uploading the PDF itself. Shows character and approximate token counts per file, warns about scanned or garbled files, and offers copy, .md save, and batch save to a folder. Runs entirely on your computer with no AI call — completely free
• 📽️ Slide Rectifier & Outline Extractor: upload several angled photos of lecture or presentation slides, run [Find corners on all photos] → fine-tune with handles → [Rectify & extract all]. AI locates the four corners, a projective transform straightens the slide, and the title, sub-headings, bullets, tables, and key takeaways are extracted as a hierarchy. New-model notifications 🆕

• Once a day the model lists of your registered providers (OpenAI, Google, Anthropic) are compared; newly released models trigger a banner and a 🆕 mark in Settings > Models. [Check now] runs it immediately; dismissed models are not shown again

Free trial without a card

• Linking your account starts a 7-day free trial immediately, no card required. A banner warns two days before it ends with [Go subscribe], which opens your dodone.world account

In-app updates 🆕

• Install new versions from inside the app. DoDone checks after launch and every 4 hours; when a new version exists a banner appears at the top, [Update] downloads it, and [Restart to apply] installs it. Your data is untouched
• Choose how updates work (Settings > General): the default is manual (notify only, download when you click). Pick automatic to download in the background and install on restart or quit
• Menu (≡) > Check for updates and the [Check now] button in Settings let you check any time. Dismissing the banner hides that version only — a newer release brings it back
• Works for apps installed from 1.0.7 onward. On 1.0.6 or earlier, download and install this version once by hand

macOS signing & notarization

• The macOS installer (dmg) and update package are signed and notarized with an Apple Developer ID and open without warnings. Windows is still unsigned and needs [More info → Run anyway] in SmartScreen

A better first run

• First-run onboarding wizard 🆕: after choosing a language, a 5-step wizard — company & you → AI key check → company knowledge → hire recommended roles → first task — takes you to a working office. Every step is skippable, and existing users with keys or employees never see it. Reopen it anytime from Settings > General ("Show first-run guide again")
• Empty knowledge base notice: when the company knowledge base is empty, a one-line hint appears above the chat box — one company brochure is enough to make results "about your company"
• Menu > User Guide: opens the dodone.world user guide (Korean/English/Japanese, 29 pages with real screenshots) in your UI language

macOS signing & notarization 🆕

• Starting with this version the macOS installer is signed and notarized with an Apple Developer ID, so it opens without the "unidentified developer" warning (no more right-click → Open). Windows is still unsigned and needs [More info → Run anyway] in SmartScreen

Improvements

• Automatic model list: enter a key in Settings > Models and the models available to that key are fetched from the OpenAI, Google, and Anthropic APIs, grouped by text and image use. Per-employee model overrides use the same list (↻ refresh, free-text entry still works)
• Publish-only connection gate: Multilingual Menu, Equipment/Work/Space Guides, One-Page Website, and WordPress Posting now let you create, edit, translate, and save images without a GitHub or WordPress connection — the connection is required only at the publish button (same principle as Slide Studio). Their cards in My Work Apps open even when not connected
• Slide Studio: delete a specific slide (later slides renumber, outline updates, the last slide is protected) · the 24-slide cap is gone · cover footer branding no longer sticks under the title

A Genspark-style presentation studio, right inside DoDone.

• Approve the outline, watch slides build live: give a topic, length, audience, and tone — the AI proposes an outline, you edit and approve, then slides generate one by one with AI background images on covers and sections.
• 13 visual layouts: bar/donut charts, tables, stat cards, timelines, comparisons, quotes — numbers automatically become charts.
• 12 themes — switch instantly with one click.
• Per-slide prompt edits: select any slide and say "turn these numbers into a chart" to regenerate just that one.
• Fully editable PPTX export: real text boxes, shapes, tables, and native charts — not a stack of images. Self-contained HTML slideshow export too.

Work Apps in the $ picker

Type $ in chat to pick $Payroll, $Contracts, $Quotes alongside plugins and connectors (with type badges). Selecting one injects read-only lookup tools, so questions like "how much did we spend on payroll in the last 3 months?" get answered with real numbers. New quote lookup tool; payroll now supports multi-month totals.

Conversations now go further

• The detailed context window for ongoing conversations grew from 4 to 8 exchanges.
• Anything older is carried along as a rolling summary — long threads no longer lose the plot.
• Once a session passes 20 tasks, DoDone suggests starting a new session (fresher context is more accurate and cheaper when the topic changes).
