Installation
DoDone is not a website—it's a program you install on your computer. Just like installing KakaoTalk or Excel, once you install it, AI employees work right inside your computer.
Why is it an installable program?
- Sensitive data like company documents, customer information, and API keys never leave your computer. DoDone does not use any servers.
- Even if your internet is slow, the screen won't freeze, and your computer will handle long tasks (like writing a 40-minute report) all the way through.
- Deliverables (Word, Excel, PDF, images) are saved as files in your folders.

Installation
- Mac: Open the downloaded dmg file and drag the DoDone icon to the Applications folder. Then, launch DoDone from Launchpad or the Applications folder.
- Windows: Run the downloaded exe file and follow the instructions. Once installed, DoDone will appear on your desktop and in the Start menu.
Security warning when opening for the first time
- Mac: Starting from 1.0.6, the installer is signed and notarized with an Apple Developer ID, so it opens without warnings. For older versions (1.0.5 or below), if you see an "Unidentified Developer" warning → In the Applications folder, right-click (or control+click) DoDone → Open → Open. You only need to do this once.
- Windows: Since we haven't received Microsoft code signing yet, you may see a blue SmartScreen window. This doesn't mean there's a virus—just that "the publisher is unknown." Click More info → Run anyway.
Your data is safe even if you reinstall or update
Work history, employees, and deliverables are saved in a separate data folder, not in the program files. If you overwrite with a new version or uninstall and reinstall, your data stays intact. For instructions on moving to a new computer, see Data · Security · Updates.
FAQ
Q: Why is the installer 200MB?
Because the program includes the engine for AI employees to create documents, Excel files, slides, and PDFs directly, as well as a small database to store your data. You don't need to install any additional programs.
Q: I don't have installation permissions on my company computer.
Mac may require an admin password, and on Windows, choosing "Install for current user" often lets you install without admin rights. If it doesn't work, let your IT administrator know the file name above.
