Project — Team Workspace

A project is a space where multiple employees are grouped together and the context of the work is remembered together. Use it for tasks like "New Product Launch," "Fall Promotion," or "Fundraising," where several people work together for more than a day. If you assign a task in a 1:1 chat with an employee, only that employee knows, but if you assign it in a project, the whole team shares the same materials, decisions, and progress.

Project Context and Memory

Manage this in the project channel at the top via ⋮ > Settings.

  • Guidelines: Rules to always follow when working on this project (tone, format, restrictions).
  • Context: Enter the background, goals, and reference materials for this project. You can analyze files or URLs and add them as bullet points. Add information that applies only to this project, not the whole company.
  • Project Memory: Decisions and interim results made by the team are automatically saved. If the direction changes, delete outdated memories.

Giving Instructions in a Project

  • @Marketer Set the direction for this campaign message → The employee handles it within the project context, and the record remains in the project.
  • @Everyone ... → Members relay one by one, each adding opinions or work from their own role perspective. Teamwork
  • Mentioning several people in order creates a sequential pipeline. Workflow
  • Work saved in a project belongs to that project.

Tips for Use

  • As soon as you create a project, write a one-line "completion criteria for this project" in the context. It becomes the standard for employees' decisions.
  • For big goals, run them as a Goal within the project to handle kickoff → execution → review all at once.
  • When a project is finished, tidy up by deleting it with ⋮ > Delete (to prevent mistakes, you must enter the name exactly to delete). The shorter your channel list, the less likely you are to accidentally assign tasks to the wrong project.

FAQ

Q: Can one employee be in multiple projects?

Yes. Employees work in the context of each project, but their memory and skills are shared across all projects.

Q: If I delete a project, do the deliverables disappear too?

Deliverable files and chat records remain. The project's memory, guidelines, and context are deleted and cannot be restored.
